What can be Listed #
Frugl Market is a marketplace that allows for Buyers to view and purchase products from Retail Sellers through the connected services including Frugl Grocery, and from Product Sellers through the Frugl Market directly. Both Frugl Market and its associated services are intended to service the Retail Grocery market, as such everything that is listed on Frugl Market and intended to be additionally listed as part of Frugl Grocery must be grocery related or grocery adjacent products.
This includes the following categories of products:
- Baby goods including Baby Care, Baby Food, Bath Time, Bottles & Feeding, Changing Needs, Formula, and Nappies & Pants
- Baking goods including Baking Additives, Baking Chocolate, Baking Mix, Decorations, Flour, and Sugar
- Bread & Bakery goods including Bread, Bread Rolls, Cakes, Crumpets & Muffins, Desserts, Garlic & Herb Bread, Pastries & Pies, Scrolls & Buns, Slices, and Wraps, Pita & Flat Bread
- Dairy & Eggs goods including Butter & Margarine, Cheese, Cream, Custard, Desserts, Eggs, Flavoured Milk, Milk, and Yoghurt
- Dietary, Health & Lifestyle goods including Bars & Snacks, Diet & Sports, Supplements, and Vitamins & Minerals
- Drinks goods including Coffee, Cordial, Energy Drinks, Home Brew, Hot Cocoa, Iced Tea, Juice, Non Alcoholic, Soft Drinks, Sports Drinks, Tea, and Water
- Frozen Foods goods including Chips & Wedges, Frozen Cakes, Frozen Fruits, Frozen Pastry, Frozen Vegetables, Ice Cream, Meals, Meat, Meat Replacement, Pizza, and Seafood & Fish
- Fruit & Vegetables goods including Fruit, Mushrooms, Salads & Herbs, and Vegetables
- Health & Beauty goods including Bath & Shower, Brushes & Combs, Cosmetics & Make Up, Dental Care, Hair Accessories, Hair Care, Medicinal, Nail Care, Personal Care & Hygiene, Shaving & Hair Removal, Skin Care, and Sun Protection
- Household & Cleaning goods including Bags, Wraps & Foils, Bathroom & Toilet, Batteries, Candles, Matches & Lighters, Cleaners & Treatments, Cleaning Gear, Clothing & Footwear, Disposable Goods, Garden & Outdoor, Kitchen, Laundry, Lighting, Party Needs, Pest Control, Stationery & Technology, and Tissues
- Liquor goods including Beer, Cider, Spirits, Premix Spirits, and Wine
- Meat & Fish goods including Beef, Burgers, Chicken, Fish, Game, Ham, Lamb, Meat, Mince, Pork, Sausages, Seafood, Shellfish, Shrimp & Prawns, Squid & Octopus, Turkey, and Veal
- Packaged & Ready Meals goods including Antipasto, Breakfast & Cereals, Dips, Fresh Pasta & Noodles, Fresh Pizza, Meats, Pate, Pie & Quiches, Ready Meals, Salads & Sides, Soups, and Turkey
- Pantry goods including Breadcrumbs, Canned & Jarred, Canned & Jarred Fruit, Canned & Jarred Legumes, Canned & Jarred Meats, Canned & Jarred Milk, Canned & Jarred Seafood, Cooking Sauces, Grains, Herbs & Spices, Jams, Legumes, Marinades & Seasoning, Meats, Noodles, Oils, Pasta, Recipe Base, Rice, Salad Dressing, Salt & Pepper, Sauce – Condiments, Simmer Sauces, Spreads & Syrup, Stock, Toppings, and Vinegars
- Pet goods including Cat Food, Cat Treats, Cat Litter, Dog Food, Dog Treats, Dry Cat Food, Dry Dog Food, Pet Accessories, Pet Grooming, Pet Healthcare, and Small Pet Food
- Snacks & Sweets goods including Biscuits & Cookies, Chips & Crackers, Chocolate, Crispbreads, Dairy Snacks, Dried Fruit, Gum & Mints, Jelly, Nuts & Seeds, Popcorn, Snack Bars, Snacks, Sweets & Lollies
Products that are able to be listed for the purpose of sale through Frugl Grocery are defined within the Frugl Market Product Library and made available to Retail Sellers. Additional products from manufacturers and brands are added on an ongoing basis by Frugl Market support.
Retailers who have access to define Own Brand aka White Label aka Retailer’s Own Brand goods will be able to create additional product listings within the above categories, however all Product listings that are hosted within the Frugl Market platform and to be show through the Frugl Grocery app are subject to approval by the Frugl Market support. Products may be removed if found to be misleading, duplication and/or in conflict with the Terms of Service at any time.
If you wish to list a product that is not part of the Frugl Market Product Library or you are unsure if a product is able to be listed for sale through to grocery shoppers via Frugl Grocery, please contact Frugl Support.
What cannot be Listed #
Even where the criteria for our marketplace is otherwise met, in addition to any item outside the scope of what is listed in the section ‘What can be listed’, the following items are out of scope and/or not allowed for listing or advertising for the purchase of within the Frugl Market platform and by extension Frugl Grocery for grocery shoppers:
- Prohibited Items including but not limited to items that promote, support or glorify hatred, promote, support or glorify violence including self-harm, dangerous items including hazardous materials, recalled items and weapons, drug paraphernalia, and pornography and mature content
- Illegal or restricted items including weapons, internationally regulated items, items promoting illegal activity or highly regulated items, and illegal substances
- Any non-goods including but not limited to, services and subscription-based services
- Digital only goods
Items which are considered illegal or restricted are based on the laws of the jurisdiction where the items are intended to be sold, distributed, and purchased.
For any item which is in violation may be flagged by Frugl Market support and subject to warning, being disabled from public view or removed. In addition to Frugl Market support users of our associated services may flag listings that are believed to violate our policies. Frugl Group may also suspend or terminator your account for repeated or multiple violations.
Managing your Account #
As a Seller using the Frugl Market platform your conduct and usage where interacting with buyers reflects not only on the platform but all other sellers on the platform, as their conduct may reflect on you. As such you agree to abide by the following principles:
- Provide honest, accurate information to Frugl Market and buyers from associated services including Frugl Grocery, and to the best of your ability provide the best customer service you are able and maintain trust with your buyers
- Ensure your account content accurately represents your store, products and listings, and abides by Frugl Market policies
- Not to participate in anti-competitive practices such as coordinating prices with other sellers, and ensure that product pricing including setting prices will be reflective of your regular in store prices and not be adjusted or changed for the purposes of passing on or avoiding platform fees
- Not to create duplicate accounts on either the Frugl Market platform or associated services for the purposes of manipulating clicks, baskets, search, product reviews or sales
- You agree not to create content, including communications, that contains hateful or derogatory language or imagery, threats, harassment, extortion, violates someone else’s intellectual property rights, is false, deceptive or misleading, unsolicited advertising or promotions including requests for donations or spam, private information, encourages or facilitates a transaction that evades Frugl Market and associate services transaction processes, prohibitive medical drug claims or violates any of the rules as described in our Terms of Service or associated policies.
Seller Standards #
By listing a product for sale, you agree that you are responsible for the applicable laws and regulations for the product you intend to sell including any required labelling and warnings.
For Sellers who provide purchasing ability you additionally agree to honour your processing times including the timely acknowledgement of orders both for acceptance and rejection of buyer orders.
If you are unable fully complete an order you agree to provide the purchaser the options of refunding the items that cannot be fulfilled, giving the buyer alternative options within the same price point that they will be able to have as a substitution, or provide a full cancellation which includes a complete refund for the total purchase. You also additionally agree that any additional costs that are incurred due to item overages or item substitution will not be passed onto the buyer as part of that transaction and will be at the cost of the seller.
You agree to resolve disagreements or order issues directly with the buyer. In the unlikely event that you cannot reach a resolution Frugl Market and Frugl Grocery support may assist you.
Seller Fees #
Sellers may be charged using some of Frugl Market features and services. You can find information relating to fees in our Fees and Payments Policies.
Seller Purchase Protection
Frugl Market provides limited purchase protection for sellers who offer item transactions as part of their account. You can find more information relating to seller purchase protections in the associated policy.
Buyer Privacy #
You are responsible for protecting the information of all buyers and sellers you interact with through the Frugl Market platform and associated services, and as such must comply with all relevant legal requirements for data protection and privacy that govern the way in which you can use that information. Any privacy policy you enact must be in compliance with this policy, the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Seller Information #
Within the context of Frugl Market and it’s associated services all Seller information is handled within compliance of the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. For content that is intended for publication and distribution such as item listings and pricing information refer to our Search, Ranking and Advertising Disclosure documentation
Additional Terms #
If Frugl Group has reason to believe you, your account, your content, or use of services violate the Terms of Service including this Seller Policy we may deactivate your content, users, or suspend or terminate your account (including any user accounts related to your account) including access to our services. Frugl Market support will attempt to contact you if this occurs unless the suspension or termination is the result of repeated violations of our Terms of Service, or we have legal or regulatory reasons preventing us from notifying you.
Frugl Group may make additional changes to this policy or to methods of authenticating user accounts at our discretion and may require account users to comply with those changes for account activation, re-activation or continued access for usage.
